Rita's is giving away free Italian ice

I cannot believe I missed the free ices. Rita's is one of my favorite hangouts. Must be a Brooklyn thing. Cookie dough ices were the ultimate until they discontinued the flavor. The owner of the store near my house called me to let me know the bad news. He kindly made one last batch and I filled my freezer with gallons. Please do not eat like I do if you want to stay in shape. Last summer I mixed Mango Ices and Chocolate Fudge while on my way to a concert with Scott.

The combination did not go well together. Careful how you mix your ices. 

I am in Hawaii right now eating rainbow snow cones. (I know what you are thinking and it's ok) Anyway, they are very popular here.

As you can see by this photo, I am not alone with my frozen sugar addiction.

In honor of spring’s arrival, Rita’s is giving away free Italian ice today. It’s the franchise’s 17th annual spring giveaway. You can find Rita’s in Gainesville, Haymarket, Woodbridge and Potomac Mills.
