CAN YOU EVER HAVE TOO MUCH SUGAR? A REVOLUTIONARY ROAD REVIEW

{My friend, Michael, crazed on Red Bull and Haagen-Dazs, wrote this review after our "movie night out".}_Lori Braun
I flipped from a grad student's apartment soiree to a viewing of Revolutionary Road with my movie companion, the sexy Lori Braun.
The 8mm home movie look , and the music immediately carried me back to my own childhood, the second half of the 1950s.The film captured the quiet desperation of people, particularly women, in marriage. Conformity, alienation, and loss of identity, are brought into relief with superb writing, dialogue, acting and direction. The story is an eloquent restatement of romantic ideals. It's one of my favorites in recent memory.
On my way back from the theater, the rain had subsided. I stopped at a 7-Eleven convenience store and bought a Haagen-Dazs vanilla & almonds ice cream bar and a can of Red Bull, which I consumed while commencing to write this review. Now, whatever I had felt about this evening's adventure is now buried under a slosh of unhealthful liquid chemical compounds and ice cream.
