I highly recommend the novel, Chemical Pink by Katie Arnoldi to anyone interested in female muscle. Insightful, witty, and very well written.

A non-fiction book of interest might be Iron Maidens: The Celebration of the Most Awesome Female Muscle in the World (or something like that), by Kristen Kaye. This book describes Laurie Fierstein's 1993 production of that name as remembered by the director of the show, Ms. Kaye. Written in 2005. I actually think it would be interesting to have the author contribute periodically to femalemuscle.com and/or loribraunblog.com.
