Duane 'Dog' Chapman's Show Back in Production

HONOLULU —  Watch out — Duane "Dog" Chapman is back.

His show, "Dog the Bounty Hunter," is going back into production. link to previous post

The network put Chapman's "Dog the Bounty Hunter" show indefinitely on hold last November after a private phone conversation between the reality star and his son Tucker was posted online.

The National Enquirer posted an audio clip of Chapman using a slur repeatedly in reference to his son's black girlfriend.

Chapman apologized and vowed never to utter the word again. He has met with several black leaders over the past several months. "The Core dinner is where I met Dwane "Dog" and his lovely wife Beth "Dog" Chapman.

"Dog the Bounty Hunter, the star of the A&E reality series of the same name that follows him capturing criminals who have jumped bail, was taped using the N word repeatedly while going off on his son for dating an African American woman. CORE invited DBH to its Martin Luther King Awards to explain his remarks. It was touching. DBH seemed truly remorseful and actually slightly afraid of confronting what he thought was a very hostile audience. Turns out he was very well received.

When I first was introduced to "Dog" we shook hands and said hello. He was very shy and humble. I liked him right away. The lights were lowered at the Core dinner and people sat back down during an announcement. I had placed my cashmere sweater down on one of the chairs when I arrived at the VIP party. I began looking for my sweater to carry it over to the dinner table, but I could not find it anywhere.  When the lights came back on, "Dog" stood up from his chair and there was my sweater, right under his butt. He had been sitting on it for over an hour or more. I smiled and said excuse me and grabbed it."
