I Want You to Want me
Friday, December 5, 2008 at 14:37 An adorable video. Love the kitty, puppy and the chicks. I also love the song. My story.
Cheap Trick as embarrassing as this sounds, was one of my favorite bands as a teenager. I still cannot believe I am admitting it. I went to see them with my best friend Ami who lived around the corner from me in Brooklyn. We took the crazy subway into New York City headed to the Paladium (back then it was a concert venue) every chance we had to see our favorite singer Robin Zander, the skinny blonde lead singer of the band. Later they became popular with Cheap Trick at Budokan. I guess that is when I stopped liking them. If you are interested in checking them out, my most listened to songs were from Cheap Trick's ELO Kiddies and Oh, Candy.

From their In Color album I loved this album cover so much that my very first boyfriend Andy and I bought the same purple satan jackets at Trash And Vaudeville on Saint Mark's Place in the East Village and wore them together. Back to the songs, here is a short list: Hello There, Oh Caroline, Clock Strikes Ten, Southern Girls, Come On, Come On, and So Good to See You."
Band info:

"Mommy's all right, Daddy's all right, they just seem a little weird."
A tough girl, apparently, who "served in the WACs in the Philippines".
