Cannot imagine what I was thinking

I just found this photo in an old photo gallery.
White platform shoes and poofy hair and still I am smiling.
I guess I thought I looked good, maybe even hoping I looked hot.
Looking back at myself, it is scary. There are so many more photos like this that I once had all over femalemuscle.com. Must have been my Pumping Iron days. That was my first "real" hardcore gym. I trained there for years. I was working out there even before the Internet was invented. I also trained hundreds of clients there. The good old days. All good memories for me.
Life was pretty simple without having to worry about which computer to take when I left the house. Just me and out the door. I am sure some people do not even remember those days, but let me tell you, they were good times. People actually talked to each other in those days. Listened to music together. We did not have our own personal stereos hooked into our ears.
Nevertheless, technology is a good thing. I have created my entire life around it, so I must really love it.
Still, I so miss the days when people were not inside their own head. I tried to say hello to a friend in the gym today. She just turned her head away. Her IPod apparently was tuned to Super Bowl Commercial audio levels.
