The Day After - Orlando

I could have slept all day. Nope. Not today. I booked a two day stay at the Hard Rock hotel in Orlando. I have to ride a few coasters each year and it seemed like the thing to do two months back when I booked the room. The Hard Rock is my favorite hotel in Orlando because if you stay there you are given Express passes and you can jump all the long, long, long Disney world lines as you suffer with the hot Florida sun melting your skin away. Amazingly enough, the first night we arrived it was freezing. Islands Of Adventure was empty and I did not even pull my Express pass out of my pocket. I headed over to the Hulk. A scary ride that shoots out from zero to forty in a nano second and then drops, turns you upside down while inverted over and over and then comes to a complete dead halt. Rode Fire and Ice 6 times before heading over to the Tower Of Doom that shoots you up a couple of hundred feet and then drops you like a rag doll. This is just the beginning of me flying above the ground. More on that later.
I was trying to look cute in this photo with my afro. Had a light beer or two and my friend snapped a few pics. I was exhausted at this point and decided to lean back on the wall to rest as I waited for time to pass. This had to be one of the most foolish moments in my life that I can remember. This was not a wall as it turns out that I was leaning on. No, it was a drape covering the window display. Adorable me falls right through it and lands in the display window with some crazy looking Christmas manikins. There I was rolling around in a Disney window display for the world to see trying to look graceful and at the same time find my way out of the showcase. Not so adorable anymore. My friend does not offer to help me up. He is too busy laughing his ass off at how ridiculous I look. Quickly I jump up, looking as If I meant to fall into the window. Yea right. The store manager walks away with his head down, not to embarrasses me even more. Things we do for blogs.
