Earned a bachelors degree in Elementary Education with a major in Science and a minor in Math.

TRAINING: Jennifer does more accessory work then most powerlifters. Instead of concentrating on just the big three; squat, bench, and dead lift, many other exercises are incorporated for overall strength. Heavy lifting with relatively low reps is still a staple, and strict single lifts in the squat and bench are done every other week. This helps to build maximum strength and maintain power and speed while still being able to concentrate on the overall physique. Below are some examples of standard workouts.
LIFTING: Jennifer has been lifting weights to stay in shape since around 1994. She only started Powerlifting in 1999 after seeing a bench press competition on Venice Beach. Jennifer however, has always lifted for conditioning and strength. She also has always only lifted in her basement gym. In addition, she has seldom missed a workout since she started whether on vacation or even ill. It has been her dedication and shear determination that has allowed her to rise to the top of power
lifting so quickly.
