A very rainy day in South Florida
Tuesday, June 5, 2007 at 21:17 It has been raining all day. It stopped for a while and then started again. The rain came down harder and harder throughout the day. Thunder and lightening was very close to hitting the house, missing by a few yards. It struck some trees and a house down the street. It was that type of electrical storm that happens only in Florida. I decided that it was better to stay home and not drive to the gym, even though it is only a few miles away.
[A pretty pool and I could not go in because I could have easily been struck by lightening. It's hard to see the rain, but it was coming down very hard, no shit]
I do not think I could have driven safely at certain times during the storm. Tomorrow I will do a double workout and tonight I will do push-ups and crunches. A very lazy day today.
June 5th was anything but a sunny Florida day. I took photos in the rain and now I think my camera is broken again. Two weeks ago I dropped it off the board walk into the sand in Point Plesant, New Jersey.
Time for a new camera again. Cell phone dropped down the toilet for about the eigth time last week. I am tecnhically challenged for sure.

Just wanted to say I love the site. I think it is great. I just relocated back to the south florida area after spending some time overseas.
I was wondering if you might be able to assist me. Prior to my departure I use to play ice hockey on a very competive level. During my employ with uncle sam I fractured my ankle and spent 23 days in the hospital. Now that I am a civilian I want to get back in serious shape but I am not sure where to start. Most of the people I knew that lived in the south fla area have moved. I am serious about getting back in shape, any assistance you can provide would be great thanks.
