An Ode to Lilly Belle

Lilly Belle, you make life so fun and interesting. When I feel down, I look at you and laugh, pick you up and squeeze. You are soft and cute. Your face is perfect, you are so perfect. If there were the a perfect little tiny creature in the universe, Lilly Belle, it would be you. You found me somewhere, somehow, in Florida. I don't know how that happened. A beautiful Siamese kitten crying outside the door and brought into our house so that we could love you.

  You are getting bigger and more beautiful each day.  So aware, aggressive and alert, always ready to play or bite my nose or feet. Quentin loved you from the start and Mangus now loves you. You made our tightly knit family tighter.

We all just love you so much. Joe, Christopher, Janet, Ellen, TK, Scott and my mother adore you. Most importantly, I love you.

I can't wait to go to the street fair in May and see your photos in the new animal magazine where you won the beauty contest that caught the attention of many animal lovers and made you beauty of the month. How exciting. You are just a joy.

Finally, you are on my schedule and we stay up all night long playing and having fun. I love you Lilly Belle. Thank you for finding me. You are really my angel. It's ok that you bit my eye today, at least it was closed and I know you were just showing me love in the only way you know how. Now that you have scratched up my million dollar red leather couch, I realize that is it just a couch and I can get another one in fifteen years or more. But it's just a stupid red couch from Maurice Villency that I wanted for years and years, it's ok. How  fun t is to watch you spin around on it with all your claws out going 100 miles an hours totally unaware of the damage you are causing to the leather...you are just having a blast and that is all that counts. You are a beauty and give me hope each day. Thanks Lilly Belle.
