The Christmas Tree

Our Christmas fun begins with trying to put the tree up and discovering there is no tree stand for our massive fake tree. We run to Walgreen, buy a stand that is too small, and then realize our tree came with a stand buried in the bottom of the box, which in our last minute haste we failed to notice.  We shook our heads and decorated the tree for 5 hours.
Wash floors, bake cookies, make pies, do laundry, rush dog to the vet. Racoons, stray cats, possums and frogs had to be fed just like a trailer park Christmas. My hair is frizzing and a try to hide it with my elf hat (SEE NEXT BLOG ENTRY for photo, or, you have already seen it if you are reading from the top down). Lawn mowed, driveway washed, windows cleaned, toilets scrubbed, all before Christmas Day. So this is Christmas.
