Janet and I Meet "Betty"

Saturday, December 15, 2007. Janet is at work and I wake up in her Tribeca home surrounded by her beautiful cats. Nor'easter is going to hit NYC today. Look outside at the beautiful day. No snow, just sunshine. Janet comes home from work and we head over to the new Bed Bath and Beyond and Barnes and Noble that just opened in the shadows of the World Trade Center construction, still just a pit of rubble with hundreds of cranes in it. It's time to see the Betty concert that I almost forgot about but luckily my Iphone calendar reminded me...Betty the band that plays the The L Word theme. Highline Ballroom. Mostly packs of gay women and gay men all clinging closely together thinking that people were staring at them and laughing, "look everyone, gay people right here in NYC!" Not happening. Show was fun.Betty is not a person. They were surprisingly good and very festive. Beautiful seated venue. Here I wanted to dance oh well.Show ended and Janet and her male friend took off. I stayed and danced to 80's songs while Chris danced off in the crowd somewhere to music that he also loves. Drank water in a beautiful blue bottle. Went home and now it is 7:07 AM. I just woke up to check the storm that is finally hitting and decided to blog. Time to watch the storm now. I hope it is a really bad one we are all snowed in for days. Doubt it will happen but the thought does make me smile. I am now blogging in my sleep. I have to loose 5 pounds by Christmas day so I can eat tons of cookies and junk.
