I love my IPhone

Sorry that you hate the phone, Adam. I am never going to stop calling you. I suggested you upgrade your phone so you too will love the telephone as I do.

I have loved phones since I was a little kid.  Prank phone calls growing up in Brooklyn with my best friend Vicki.   Hours and hours torturing other humans until my dad finally got sick and tired of it. Those long calls were very expensive back in the day. He finally ripped the phone out of the wall. That was meanest that I have every seen my dad. I guess he did not think it was hilarious like we did. He was even angrier at that then when I burned the kitchen down (another story for another time).

I also liked walkie-talkies when I was a kid. They were a blast. I bought a great pair a few years ago which drove everyone crazy. Wonder why? If you remember CB's...come on, how much fun were those?

Communication is a good thing any way you look at it. How about femalemuscle talklive, (ADAM) that is communication between female bodybuilders and people who want to talk to them at it's best. That program has been a success since we started it 14 plus years ago and still going strong. Pardon the pun.

I have had many cell phones over the years. Probably more then most because I drop them down the toilet a few times a year and drop heavy dumbbells on them while I am training.

Cell phones have been nothing but problems for me and I still love them. I do not have a home phone and I have not for years. There is no point.

When the IPhone came out, I was hesitant for a week or so whether or not I should buy one. I finally said no way. I did not want to become a total geek who has to run out and buy the latest tech toy when it hits the stores. No way, that's not me. Then Joe shows up and hands me a box, "Oh what could this be with a big apple stamped on it?"

The rest is history. Turned it on, messed with it for a day, then I put my favorite music on it, I text messaged all my friends and so easily checked the weather all over the world and also the time on every part of the planet, and then surfed the internet to find the movie times, checked my email, took amazing photos, used the fun little notepad, watched youtube when I was totally bored, set my calendar to let me know one day before my Neil Young concert tickets were, made great friends with map system since I am always getting lost and inevitably guess what happened? No, I did not drop it down the toilet.

I feel madly in love with my IPhone. It is  just like having a little baby. I go to the genius bar with it at the mac store and hang out with other geeks and learn when the new software is coming out and what other cool things may be  out in the near future.  It's a cult, sort of. Sounds neurotic and even corny.

I am going to say it:

I love my IPhone more then granola. There, take that Adam.

Well I know all about the cult of Mac - you know how I feel about my iMac! :-) so I suppose if you want to buy me an iPhone and a year of service I'll take it!
