I cannot imagine how umiliated a dog would feel if attached to this umbrella thing. I would be embarassed for them.

Inu-san is a relative of mine. Actually, I don't think she cares so much about the ridiculous umbrella, but no dog likes to be on a leash of any kind. Neither do Tanuki. Nevertheless, I'll bet Inu-san gets a lot of love, and will live a longer life than if she were fending for herself out in the wild. It's all so sad.
