Lee Haney wins life time achievement award

I was always intrigued with Lee Haney. I do not know why except that he seemed so confident and real. He always had a special aura about him. It is very difficult to find people in this sport who know how to keep their life balanced and in perspective. I had the opportunity to see him win and accept a life time achievement award this weekend at the Arnold Classsic 2006. Lee Haney has a special place in my heart. Seeing him just comfirmed it. He is so loving towards his family and friends and is also a very spiritual man. He has a purpose in life. Something that many people just dream about having. His short speech inspired me so much. Train hard and remember that bodyubilding can take you anywhere you want. He is a gentleman, highly intelligent and a lover of the human race. So rare to see this in 2006. We need him around more to quide the young and old of our sport. Lee Haney,you are my role model. Many people admire you so. It was amazing to see how many people stood up for a standing ovation during his speech, which was not at all about him at all. He reminded us to stay focused and positive. Lee Haney, you made my weekend. What a powerful man he is, yet so humble. I admire him now more then ever. By the way, Haney looked prettty pumped and even youthful. Lori Braun
