Auburndale, Florida – Mary Bailey, a local woman, is helping kids and adults how to wrestle. Mary Bailey, Pro Wrestler: “Land flat! Get them legs in the air!” Bailey is the undisputed queen of this warehouse kingdom, where both kids and adults seek out her wrestling wisdom. Austin Hitchcock, 12 years old: “She teaches from the book and she teaches you stuff like she learned and she don’t want us to make mistakes so we don’t hurt ourselves.” Bailey has had a life-long love affair with pro wrestling. She started out as a ring girl at age six and not long after that she was in the ring and ringing necks. Mary Bailey: “I was a tomboy, I climbed trees, I beat up boys and I liked to wrestle.” And at age 45 “Biker Babe” still has the moves. And while rough and tumble “Biker Babe” still enjoys slamming opponents to the matt, when it comes to kids, she’s a softy. To attend Bailey’s wrestling center, youngsters don’t need money, but they do need good grades.
