Once again, I would like to thank Maura James and Christopher Leavy

for these pictures and bio of their beloved daughter, and niece.

 Here are some pictures and some more about Melissa James.

Melissa James was born March 23, 1977 in Panama City, Florida.

 She has one older sister April and a younger brother Michael.

 She was a straight “A” student throughout school and graduated

 from high school a year early in 1994. She attended Gulf Coast

Community College for approximately two years.

   She started her dancing career at the age of 7 and continued on into  her adult years. Her favorite classes were ballet and jazz and as

 she got older hip hop became a favorite of hers. At the age

of 19 she began Dance Unlimited and became Ms. Melissa to

many, many students for the next 6 years.

Melissa had many dreams and goals in life. Many she obtained

and many she was pursuing. Her last goal in her life was to continue  her education and to one day open another dance studio. She was  a very passionate person who cared about everyone she met.

She loved her family very much, especially her niece Kaytlyn

and her nephews Seth, Gabe, Jacob, Joshua, and Calob.

They will miss her very, very much.

Mellissa JamesLife will never be the same with her gone. She will always be in our  hearts and we are so thankful for the memories that we have  of her. I know she also touched many other people that  she came in contact with throughout her life. I look forward to one day seeing her again in the presence of our Heavenly Father.
