The third installment of Rock and Sock Productions’ “A Ring Of Their Own” all-women’s boxing series will take place on Saturday, June 18, at the The Shaw Center in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Co-promoting with Rock and Sock will be KO Boxing and Independent Jewelers, both of Edmonton. The card will feature both Canadian and U.S. fighters.
The main event is the highly anticipated rematch of Jelena Mrdjenovich (11-1) and Layla McCarter (18-11-4). McCarter gave Jelena the only “L” on her record via a six round decision win. This match will be eight rounds, and sanctioned as a WIBA eliminator at 135 pounds.
