09.01.2004:Bjork Video Oceania Olympics Athens 2004

didn't even know the Olympics started Saturday night, let alone that Bjork was performing. So I tracked down the performance, and provide the video here in Quicktime (56k, 200k), and the audio in MP3 (192k, 5.5MB). This is the BBC broadcast. I heard somewhere that NBC talked over the performance.

yay! i was in the lower rear photo pool in the 3rd turn which is beside and behind the stage where Bjork performed. I was shooting for the paper I work with and fell in love with the song she performed, Oceania. This will be the first time I get to see what was broadcast. She's terrific and you are too!

i already have this, but i wanted to tell you that it is nice that you have this performance both in video and audio, because some people missed the bj's performance or there were the ones that could only watch it through nbc, like you said, and the people talking over were a pair of jackasses... they got a lot of people unhappy... they just wanted to catch björk do oceania (lip-synch it, or whatever), and they didn't deserve the unluckyness of having these broadcast idiots saying shit about björk... it was so out of place! so nice work.. (lori? is that what you are called) you're very kind
