ATHENS (CP) - The Canadian women's water polo team was euphoric after a 6-5 comeback win over world champion U.S. on Wednesday at the Olympic Games.

The Canadians twice trailed by four goals, but scored five straight in the fourth quarter to pull out the win. "There's no doubt in my mind this team will go far and we'll just build on that positive energy that victory gave us today," team captain Ann Dow said.

Canada (1-1) needs a win or a tie against Hungary (0-2) on Friday in order to go through the playoffs
