There was no holding back the tears of 17-year-old Alice Mills as she stepped on to the victory dais with her "Quick Chicks" teammates Jodie Henry, Libby Lenton and Petria Thomas to celebrate Australia's first female relay victory since the 1956 Games in Melbourne.
The team -- the three Queenslanders Lenton, Mills and Henry competing at their first Olympics -- set a world record of 3min35.94sec to win.
