07.08.2004:2004 NPC Southern State Championships

The East Coast's biggest amateur bodybuilding, fitness & figure championships, the 2004 NPC Southern States Championships, will celebrate their 25th year in style. The event has grown so much that it will take place at the Broward County Convention Center in Ft. Lauderdale August 6 & 7.

"Bigger is better," says Peter Potter, NPC VP and Executive Producer for the Southern States Competition. "After 25 years, it is wonderful that more and more people are competing in all categories and that we needed a larger auditorium to house all of its spectators."
This national qualifying competition is open to any NPC registered athlete in the U.S. Men and women, from teens to senior citizens 70 and over will compete.
The Fitness, Figure and Grandmasters Championships take place Friday with the Bodybuilding Championships set for Saturday. For tickets, call CTS, 877-877-7667, USA Sports Promotions, 954-763-2718 or visit www.npcsouthernstates.com for more details.
