10.05.2004:Go Figure Say the Experts Medina Wins Ms. Olympia Figure Title

A mild controversy to some when Davana Medina won the Figure Title at Ms. Olympia 2004.   In the words of Shawn Perine at flexonline.com:

"The most controversial decision of the evening, based on crowd reaction, was the awarding of Davana Medina with a second consecutive Figure Olympia title. While Medina certainly presented a polished figure, there seemed to be a consensus that the slightly more muscular, yet no less polished, physiques of second place finisher Jenny Lynn and Monica Brant, who took third, better represented the sport's ideals."

I realize that the other two choices may have been more consistent with the expected criteria, but how could you say no to a face like that!!!
